How do you make the dock transparent on iPhone iOS 14?
By default, the Dock on your iPhone or iPad is transparent.
How to change the dock color on your iPhone
- Open the Settings app and tap Accessibility.
- Tap Display & Text Size.
- Toggle on Reduce Transparency.
How do I make the dock on my iPhone transparent?
Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast, and you can turn off Reduce Transparency. You can also go to Settings>Display & Brightness and to my knowledge it needs to be set to Standard instead of Zoomed. The dock hasn’t been transparent in a long time, however you do have the option to clear it some.
There are a few ways to get rid of the grey dock on your iPhone. One way is to go into your Settings and then select General. From there, select Accessibility and then select Increase Contrast. Turn on the option for Reduce Transparency and the dock will turn black.
Can you remove the dock from iPhone?
Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t give us the chance to remove the dock on iPhone by default. But you can choose which apps the dock is supposed to show.
Go to Settings->General->Accessibility->Reduce Transparency, and make sure its turned off. This will make the grey backgrounds on the dock and the folders a bit translucent and as such take on color from the background being used.
Fortunately, you can remove it very easily by following the steps below.
- Launch the Settings app.
- Scroll down the left-side menu and tap Home Screen & Dock.
- Under the “Dock” section, toggle off the switch next to Show App Library in Dock.
Can you make the Dock disappear on IPAD?
In Settings, tap “Home Screen & Dock.” In Home Screen & Dock settings, flip the switch beside “Show App Library in Dock” to “Off.” (While you’re here, you can simplify the dock even further if you switch off “Show Suggested and Recent Apps in Dock.”)
